♥ bass & b'day prezzie
bass class started last sat and i must say that bass is so much easier than guitar lah. but bass guitar is like damn ex, how to buy lor.
after bass, we went to NP to have lunch & to find jiaqi's belated b'day prezzie. and check out what we found at 'kiddy palace'!

it's like a miracle to wake up as early as 11:10 ytd! haha (: was meeting suping at 12:15 initially but she also overslept =X so we decided to meet at 1pm. went for NYP open house by bus 72. the journey was longgg..

♥ first (few) days in sec sch life in 2006 (:
okay, i'm really bored. so i'm do another recount for 2006. heh. since ev'one's pratically talking 'bout their first few days of sch in jc/sec sch, i think i shld share abt my first few days of sch of my O level year-2006 (:
basically, ev'one in sch was mixed up with the alphabets of the express, NA and NT classes. i used to be in 3E`2005. so if i were to say that i'm in 4E`2006, it means that i'm in 3N4`2005. but no no. 3E`2005 became 4K`2006 instead. so during the first week of sch, ev'one was so frustrated with the new arrangement that some decided to self-proclaim "retain". instead of saying 'i'm from 4K', will say '3E de'. some literally counted with their fingers (yes, me.) to get the classes correctly cos there's this troublesome thing called MT classes. we had to find the correct classroom not damn malu lah.
some of my classmates were amused by the alphabet of our class cos it's the same letter as our FT! 4K's form t'cher is mr K wors.
i managed to sit on the seat which k allocated w/out his zhi dian! haha, coincidental lah. i just happened to sit there in the morning lor (cos that's kind of nearest to the door) and bingo! =D i sat on the first column nearest to the doors, last table which was only the 4th. xD haha, i'm super proud lah, cos i get to use both power socket for my hp charger all for myself!
some of us had not started on our art coursework yet (after 2 long months of holiday). but we really thank God that gopal didn't come for class not only 1 week but 3 WEEKS! wahahaha~ cos he went for a heart bypass op last dec, so he still had mc to rest at home lor. haha, we slacked like siao. but when he came back, he gave us a lecture and i think he still wanted me to drop art. darn. [i so love SHSS art room XD]
we were quite afraid of mr ng actually cos when he flares up, he's like a dinosaur. we wasn't clear of his personality den cos he nv taught us math b4. but the environment was much cooler after he stepped in the classroom and told us abt his kiasu-ism. gosh. cos the sch had a '5-min-b4-t'cher-to-get-out-of-classroom' bell which started in 2006. so he made use of that bell to leave his HOD/MMO (i can't rmb what he stands for le) which is at the 2nd level and would go up to the 4th level (4K classroom) and wait outside e classroom till the bell rings and den starts his class on time! only he could think of such thing lah. not only that. we were supposed to have 3 exercise books for math. and so he told us to draw a '2cm by 2cm' squares at the top right hand corner of the exercise book cover cos '1cm by 1cm' would be too small to write a double digit index no. and '3cm by 3cm' sq will look too big. this was super lol. [it's thanks to this t'cher for my interest in math :D]

♥ i hope for...
went for TP and NP's OH on thurs and fri respectively (: ooh, thankfully suping and me went to TP ard 12plus if not it wld be very crowded & squeezy at the OH with all the students at 2! haha, this is simply based on experience lah. was kinda surprised tt shss didn organise a trip to TP OH cos sch's so nearby and it's like an annual "event" lah. NP's OH was not really crowded, did not see anyone familiar also ): i haven't really tot of which course to go yet. yes yes, i'm changing my mind right now (if u've read last yr's post, i wld blurt out the courses which i'm interested) i feel as if i'm someone w/out goals and aims in life but sometimes we just gotta leave 'em to God. i know goals gives me direction and etc. i don't set goals bcos i'm afraid of failure, low self-esteem or i dunno how to set. blah blah. argh. so much for attending *that* course! sometimes, no matter how hard u try to get e stuffs u want, it might nv go ur way.

God is gonna do wonders this year-2007. (:

♥ NC16 MOVIES xD
i feel so proud that i can watch NC16 movies! (: hahas, and it's twice in a row, gg to be the 3rd in a row after i watch one last dance~ XD hahas, i watched pan's labyrinth with veron on tues. it's thrilling, cannot help but stick my eyes on the screen cos it's too good to be missed. some parts is a lil scary (or mb i feel a lil fear for that kid), some is kinda disgusting ): eww..
and i watched blood diamond today! although many had been recommending this movie arh, i still doubt their words lor. i mean, how good can a movie gets lah. but after watching it, i must say. GO WATCH BLOOD DIAMOND! i learn about how the ppl in africa lives-those killings and etc, how great a father's love can be and how a black and a white be FRIENDS. yea. some parts is disgusting lor. quite a lot of violence (that's for sure) for a rare pink diamond. hais.. and the part on father's love. oh man, it's so touching! cos solomon(e one who found & hid the pink diamond)'s son was caught and forced to be one of the children killers(or whatever). solomon and archer(leonardo) rescued him from the R.U.L. village. but this kid denied the father's presence and kept saying that he hates him(oh no..). but afterall, the whole family was reunited! woohoo! it suddenly occurred to me that God's also the same as the character Solomon. yea, like the prodigy son from the bible. that even though we do lotsa bad(as in naughty) things, God's hands is alw wide open, waiting for us to draw near to him (:
ooh~ and i wna watch apocalypto! mel gibson's production. i didn't really catch e meaning of the trailler, so must watch to understand =X hahas.. i don't rmb watching that many movies in a month last yr. what to do, so many good movies coming up nowadays and so much time :P

♥ a night when our faith was tested
we didn't have any guitar classes last saturday such tt we're finally able to take e church bus to yishun =) edge was on HOPE. mind is in a whirl right now, but 1 thing for sure is that jesus will definitely be by my side! =D we went to seng bang for dinner again. e test of faith came! it's been raining for the past few days, including right now. on saturday night, the sky was threatening to rain, it was very orange-y. there wasn't any shelter, tt means we're eating under the trees. we felt drops of rain, light drizzle. den we started praying that God will hold the rain! and AMEN! he heard our prayers and the rain stopped. den the drizzle came again, by then, some wanted to go to the food court to seek shelter but some of us decided to eat by faith that He will hold the rain. and of cos, the food came and went in our stomach! Thank God! my sis and i went to tanah merah mrt station to head home. b4 we boarded the train, we realised that it was raining! thank God for sheltering us to the train =D cos after we stopped at simei to go home, it stopped raining once again. XD we reached home safely, not using e umbrella at all! yay! haha =D faith (:

♥ night at museum!
i've just finished watching d grayman and death note anime 13 episodes ytd on youtube wors. haha. it didn't take a long time to load (: neways, met veron today to go JL take payslips. supposed to take on 28 dec last year lah. haha. boo hoo, i rmb losing my punch card on the 2nd last day of my work, and my slide card wasn't working at all! imagine how flustered i got at the thought of my pay day-NO MONEY! well, maybe losing it was a good thing after all. PAY SLIP (:
oh yea, veron gave me sweets from JAPAN DISNEYLAND too!
after that, watched 'night at the museum' at CS. and i must say, the movie's fantastic. i didn't expect the movie to end that quick. hmm.. larry and his son was surprised that the egyptian king spoke english. they went "you can speak english?!". and that king went "oh yeah, i studied at cambridge university" LOL. director rocks.

♥ i can really be happy! =D yay!
thursday, 4th Jan
had dinner at organic cafe before gg to church for prayer.
friday, 5th Jan
had dinner w sis at kfc before gg to church for prayer.
(realised it's just dinner? haha, cos i woke up around 5 ev'day! whee~)
saturday, 6th Jan
ooh, had lunch at fish&co before gg for our last lesson of guitar at yishun~
we learnt slash chords this time~ den was the edge! was talking about hope. some of us have been placing their hope on friendship and etc. sometimes these friends would hurt us and often resulting to broken friendships, broken hope. so we should be placing our HOPE in jesus becos He's someone who's secure enough. yes! and i've placed all my HOPE on jesus! so much better than feeling so depressed ev'day right.
den we had dinner at seng bang(i dunno how to spell leh), somewhere at tanah merah. the first time some of us cam for dinner was on the 1st lesson of guitar course (2 months ago). the second time was on the last lesson of guitar course! it was really a coincidence lah.. anyways, the food was extremely delicious lah, that's why it's business is roaring (and i had to wait for my nasi goreng sambal seafood for more than an hour!)
the lamb was initially the same width as the metal base, after close to an hour, it "slim" down this much lah. i was sitting right infront, imagine the anount of food which i saw before mine finally came. but, food is heaven lah.
sunday, 7th Jan
had morning service at SIS! the worship was very lively, we learnt a new song too! hahas.. the sermon was on ENCOURAGEMENT. yea, we gotta encourage to build one another up.
after that, we watched dn2 at ps. i'm extremely puzzled cos how come there's a twist in the movie? i mean it's totally different from the manga lah. i thought L would have a successor and that's mello and near (M & N). and kira won't die that early, in the sense before L lor. cos if kira/light die, it's sort of the end of death note liao lor. and mello and near will never come to the picture when these 2 are also the main 2 characters. ahh!
went for evening service, power night after the movie. was at the verge of sleeping cos didn had a good sleep the night before ): yeah, i know that's a lousy excuse. ooh! edmund chen came for the service too! yep, we saw him and his daughter lah (the one who wanted to plant vege in the fridge). and heard that his son went for some healing, but we didn't notice him at all.. neways, it's really God's grace to allow this family to come to our church. though i'm still unsure of how they heard of this church and power night, i think this is the start of the year of transformation for our church! jia you!
den we had dinner at mcdonald at central again, i think it's really tiring to rack our brains after each service just to figure where to eat lor. ): and yay! thank god i managed to sleep at 1plus last night! i've been sleeping at 4plus, 5 plus, 6plus kinda thing for the past few nights and having to wake up at 7-8 plus lor. not enough sleep.

♥ new year. 2007~
happy new year! 2007~ wow!
haha, didn't go for any countdown or anything again LAST year. it was well spent in sembawang church. =) had nursery duty in the morning and at night. so i was feeling so exhausted cos my hand aches like siao. yep, thankfully we just had to do for the 1st half of the service at night which is at 8-10:30 or so. and there was movie marathon for the youth after the watchnight service at 1am-6am. yea, some of us didn't sleep for the whole morning and some was so exhausted that they practically went there just to zzz. haha..
FIRST of 2007:

hour: very memorable. my sis, ezekial, su ping, jian lin, sean and i was standing/sitting outside the church waiting for the bus to bring our region to yishun for movie marathon. the guys was pratically talking about BAND and girls was listening to music. it started drizzling so we went back to church to seek shelter.
taxi trip: at 0203, opposite church. cos we tot the bus ain't coming to fetch us, so we took a cab down. fare cost $4.70, + $1, + 50% midnight charge = $8. so expensive!
shop visited: 7-eleven opp yishun building.
food eaten: pizza bar from 7-eleven
surprise: that toy from kinder-surprise choc which was also bot form 7-eleven.
toilet trip: after eating kinder-surprise (:
movie seen: devil wears prada
exercise: when we ran for bus 969. (yes, RUN! we were so tired)
bus taken: TIBS 969 back to tampines
breakfast: tampines interchange mcdonald, hotcakes set meal.
step to dreamland: 10am
tv drama watched: 7pm show on channel 8.
yea, we only watched 1 movie cos pirates 2 was not showing until 5-6 plus lor. so after watching prada show until 5, we played big 2 and heart attack to keep ourselves awake. haha. most of the guys was zzz by then. haha (: can't be bothered with new year resolutions k. bored of such things. hoho~
